DR. ROSLYN HENDRIKS

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Roslyn Hendriks is an experienced CEO, entrepreneur and angel investor with lifelong success in founding new companies, commercialising new technologies, accelerating profitable growth of emerging businesses, coaching executives and companies, and serving on Boards and Advisory Boards. She has repeated these successes in angel, seed, VC and high net-worth backed start-ups and other profit and non-profit organisations spanning three decades. Internationally versed.

From 2001 to 2022, she co-founded and was Founding CEO of three start-ups: Genetrax (Australia), Immunexpress (USA) and Tend Health (USA), the latter a spin-out from the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Research Institute. Under her leadership, these ventures raised approximately $100 million in dilutive and non-dilutive capital, cleared products through the FDA, delivered products and services into revenue, built international business and technology partnerships and high performance teams. As Founding CEO of Immunexpress from 2006 to 2017, the company developed the award-winning SeptiCyte technology (Medtech Insight Awards 2018, “Best Proof of Value of an Innovation”); SeptiCyte LAB is the first RNA-based multiplex molecular diagnostic to be cleared (Feb 2017) by the FDA for infectious disease.

She is currently an Independent Director on the Board of UniSA Ventures (Adelaide, Australia), Chair of the 66ten IRC for WEHI Ventures Pty Ltd (Melbourne), and an Advisor to the Westmead Institute for Medical Research (Sydney), Burnet Medical Institute (Melbourne), GMJ Technologies Inc. (Seattle, USA), Provectus Algae Pty Ltd (Sunshine Coast) and others.

Roslyn is recognized for her natural entrepreneurial DNA, and ability and to lead and inspire others. She is qualified in veterinary medicine and medical pharmacology (The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia; University of California, Davis) and has a summa cum laude MBA from the Queensland University of Technology. She is passionate about innovation and experienced in building effective organizations to bring cutting-edge technologies to the global market. She has lived and worked in Australia, France and the US, and has built successful business relationships across North America, Australasia, Europe and the UK. She is expert in seeing the big picture, rapidly finding the issues, and developing strategies for business development and transformation.

Susan Farber

SUSAN FARBER

ADVISOR AND CONSULTANT 

Until December 2019 and for 23 years, Susan Farber served as President and COO of Enterprise Analysis Corporation (EAC), a strategic healthcare consulting firm based in Stamford, CT. Susan led the firm through exponential growth and built a consulting team that managed assignments including clinical outcome studies, market strategy, market opportunity assessments, product evaluations and others. Her expertise is in the development of business models and strategies for market access and pricing, and quantitative and qualitative research within global healthcare markets and systems.

Susan has produced key white papers on subjects including instrument performance, digital pathology, healthcare associated infections and on the value of connected diagnostic point-of-care solutions. In 2018, she managed a comprehensive project assessing the readiness of clinical applications based on the developing microbiome sciences.

Prior to EAC, Susan had 12 years of financial experience on Wall Street (new issue underwriting, syndications, IPOs and tender offers). She led negotiations and developed financial models and, in this capacity, also chartered and served as Treasurer of a bank. She has an additional twelve years in management consulting in pharmaceutical sales, information technology and financial services.

She has extensive networks at all levels within the global healthcare markets, including insurers, integrated healthcare systems, major teaching hospitals, vendors, regulatory and has an expert knowledge in emerging technology and clinical trends. Her publications include:  Annals of Emergency Medicine, Volume 46, No 3, Sept 2005, “Utility of a Comprehensive Point-of-Care Laboratory System to Save Time and Money in the Emergency Department when Combined with Care Process Models”.


Stefan Hendriks

Originally from South Africa, Stefan is qualified in accounting, finance and law. He has a summa cum laude MBA from IMD, Switzerland where he majored in international business. He financed, built and later sold the first IKEA superstore in Brisbane, Australia. At the time, it was the fastest IKEA development from inception to store-opening in the world. Throughout his career, he has worked in professional accounting and auditing, investment banking, funds management, venture capital, corporate structuring & capital development, management consulting, mergers & acquisitions, and as Founding CFO for start-ups. He has experience in a large range of industries including chemicals, commercial leasing & retail lending, oil and gas, furniture retailing, aquaculture (salmon, oysters, trout), food production, food processing, lumber. He has served on Boards of rapidly growing companies, financial intermediaries and Diners Club Scandinavia. He has acute commercial insight and is expert in strategic business development and financial leverage. He is a strong leader, has served in the South African military and speaks several languages. 

Dr. Sue Evans

Sue Evans, PhD, FAACC

Advisor and Consultant

Sue Evans has held leadership positions in R&D, general management, strategic planning and scientific affairs and brings over 30 years of experience in diagnostics and health technology companies. Dr. Evans' consulting work focuses on strategy development and assessment of growth opportunities.

Dr. Evans most recently served as Acting CEO for ImmunArray, Ltd. Prior to this assignment as VP, Scientific Affairs for Beckman Coulter, an operating company of Danaher Inc. At Beckman Coulter, Sue held roles as VP, Corporate Strategic Planning and VP of Beckman Coulter Genomics, known formerly as Agencourt Bioscience.

Prior to her career at Beckman Coulter, Dr. Evans held senior R&D positions at Caliper Life Sciences and LifeScan. Dr. Evans began her career in diagnostics at Dade Behring, Inc., where she served in various R&D capacities from 1981 to 2000, assuming the leadership role as SVP R&D in 1994. Sue has led organizations in the development of IVD diagnostic systems and assays across a wide range of laboratory disciplines.  

From 2013-2017 Dr. Evans also served as an independent director for Bioptix (NASDAQ:BIOP) serving as Chair of the Compensation committee and a member of the Policy and Governance committee.

Dr. Evans has been involved with many professional associations, including the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC); serving on the Board of Directors, as Secretary, and as President in 2003.  She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Analytical, Life Science & Diagnostics Association (ALDA), and the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (NACB).  Dr. Evans is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
